'Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done' (Proverbs 19:17). We call upon students and professionals from universities in the UK, USA, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, France, India, China, Norway, and Kuwait — plus churches worldwide — to offer skills in health, education, M&E, or communications, and to pray with vulnerable youth and young mothers in refugee camps and communities across Uganda.
Get involvedIn communities across Uganda, orphans, vulnerable children, and refugee children face an uncertain future — many bright and capable, yet unable to attend school simply because no one stands behind them. "Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed" (Psalm 82:3). ICCD is calling upon touched hearts around the world to sponsor a child — from primary school all the way to university — providing not just school fees, but skills training, mentorship, and consistent care along the way. Your sponsorship becomes more than tuition; it becomes a relationship that walks a child from vulnerability to purpose. "Whatever you did for one of the least of these... you did for me" (Matthew 25:40). One child, one sponsor, one transformed future — will you answer the call?
